ChalkGrid (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ChalkGrid app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use ChalkGrid, why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, and what rights you have over your data. 2. What Data We Collect
We collect only the data needed to provide and improve the Service.
Account Data
•
Email address — used to create your account, send authentication emails, and allow you to reset your password.
App Usage Data
•
Habit data — the names, descriptions, and settings of the habits you create.
•
Streak and progress data — your completion records and streak counts for each habit.
•
Reminder preferences — notification times you configure for habit reminders.
Subscription Data
•
Purchase and subscription status — if you upgrade to ChalkGrid Pro, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and a purchase receipt is sent to RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We never see or store your payment card details.
Technical Data
•
Authentication tokens — generated securely by Supabase to keep your session active.
•
Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, an Expo push token, your device platform, and app version are stored to deliver habit reminders and streak nudges.
•
Activity timestamps — the time the app was last opened, used to send re-engagement nudges if you become inactive.
•
Crash and diagnostic data — if the app crashes or an error occurs, a report (device model, operating system version, app version, and details of the error — linked to your account ID and email if you are signed in) is sent to Sentry so we can diagnose and fix bugs.
We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any sensitive personal data.
